DNA nanostructures are emerging as a versatile platform for controlled drug delivery result of recent progress in production yield and strategies to obtain prolonged stability biological environments. The construction from this unique biomaterial provides unparalleled control over structural functional parameters. Recent applications origami-based nanocarriers therapeutic preclinical phases highlight them promising alternatives conventional nanomaterials, they benefit the inherent favorable properties including biocompatibility precise spatial addressability.
